Complementary Therapy Volunteer

Hospice at Home recognises and values the immense contribution volunteers make to the delivery of our services. We have a small team of volunteers working in Complementary Therapy, Family and Bereavement Support and the nursing team.

At this time of year when our thoughts may be with loved ones that have passed or have been unwell, you may feel that you want to give a gift to others in need or to repay a good deed to those who have helped you …

If this sounds familiar then volunteering and giving a gift of time to others may just be what you are looking for …

Complementary therapies are offered to patients, carers and those who are bereaved either at home or another agreed venue, by a small but dedicated team of qualified experienced therapists. Our team of dedicated volunteer therapists do not replace the functions of hospice at home paid staff but complement their work, contributing to improving the well-being and quality of life for patients, relatives and carers.
