Community Support

Home/How You Can Help/Community Support

Community Support is vital to the work of Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland and we are very appreciative of the kindness and generosity shown by the local community.

Hospice at Home is lucky to have a Volunteer Fundraisers Forum (VFF). This group is comprised of representatives from the city, towns and villages within our Clinical Services Area who organise events and raise awareness of Hospice at Home within their locations. The VFF members often work with teams of volunteers to do this. For more information or if you would like to join a group please call The Fundraising Office 01768 210719. We have active groups in Longtown, Wigton, Appleby, Keswick, Brampton, Carlisle, Lakeside (Ullswater), Dalston and Kirkby Stephen.

In addition to this, Hospice at Home receives vital support from local organisations, schools, businesses and clubs, as well as individuals, families and friendship groups.

If you would like more information please click on the ‘How You Can Support’ menu above or call 01768 210719.

We are pleased to work alongside other Hospices within Cumbria and a Fundraising Charter has been created to reflect our working partnership agreements. Please click on the button below to view the Charter.
