What Is ‘Light Up A Life’?
The festive season is traditionally a time for families and loved ones to get together, and it can be especially difficult if that special person or people can’t be with you during this time. Light up a Life is an occasion to remember and celebrate the lives of those who have died, or cannot be with us but are always in our thoughts.
How Can I Get Involved?
You can participate in the Light up a Life Appeal in several ways:
By attending our Light up a Life Service at St. Andrew’s Church, Penrith on Sunday 15th December at 10am. (Refreshments will be served afterwards.)
By making a donation
We invite you to dedicate a light to your special someone.
Each light symbolises and celebrates the life of that person, remembering precious moments and memories.
As part of your Light up a Life support:
- A tree will bear the light dedicated to your loved one.
- A personalised card and special pin badge will be sent to you.
- The names of those who are being remembered will be added to a Book of Remembrance which will be at the Services and later returned to the Fundraising Office.
To make a donation please complete the form below. Thank you.
Who Will I Be Helping?
This Appeal raises vital funds to help local patients, and their families, who have been given the news that they have a life-limiting or life-threatening illness. With your support, we will be able to provide more care for more people and ensure that they don’t face this difficult time alone.
