Raffle Ticket Selling Days
The Raffle Ticket Selling Days are usually held in Carlisle or Penrith and they raise important funds for the Charity.
The days are usually held inside a supermarket. Volunteers always work in pairs, normally in two-hour slots, to sell tickets, talk to our supporters and raise awareness of the Charity.
At the start of the day a nominated volunteer will set the table up by displaying the tickets and collection tins/buckets. Our volunteers then arrive, put on a sash and begin selling the Raffle Tickets. At the end of the allotted time, volunteers hand over to the next team. At the end of the day another nominated volunteer will collect all the equipment and money and return it to the office.
