Three Peaks Challenge

Join us as we climb the highest mountains in the UK – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon!

What is the Three Peaks Challenge?

Have you heard of the Three Peaks Challenge – but find yourself wondering exactly what it involves? We have all the information you need right here!

The Three Peaks Challenge is one of the most popular trekking challenges in the UK and involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon), one after another – with an aim to complete the challenge within 3 Days.

We head to Fort William before trekking to the summit of our first and highest peak – Ben Nevis. We then set off for the Lake District to conquer Scafell Pike by night. Our final ascent takes place in Snowdonia National Park, where we climb the mighty Snowdon!

Our target trekking time is 15 hours or less, the equivalent available trekking time for the traditional 24 hour Three Peaks Challenge. There is a maximum available trekking time of 18 hours. We’ll climb around 9,500 feet and walk approximately 22 miles - it’s no wonder the National Three Peaks Challenge is the most highly regarded trekking challenge in the UK!

A tough challenge awaits and your boundaries will be pushed, but with our support and exceptional care and encouragement we can conquer this classic charity challenge. We’ll be driving the team through the night, guiding each member up each mountain, and even giving the occasional hug and high five when required.  Join our team and tick this classic UK challenge off your list!

Please note, the itinerary for this challenge is complex and subject to change.

Please Note:

In order to fulfil the itinerary and complete all 3 mountains within the scope and limitations of the challenge itinerary including contracted staff working hours, there are strict cut off times in place.  The maximum trekking times are Ben Nevis - 7 hours, Scafell Pike - 5.5 hours, Snowdon  - 5.5 hours. Whilst we offer support and encouragement to all trekkers wanting to complete the challenge, with regret, anyone failing to meet the interim cut off times in place will therefore exceed the maximum trekking time available and will be required to return with a guide to the waiting support team.
