Fells and Flowers Art Exhibition by Michael and Anne Batey

11 May @ 10:00 - 12 May @ 16:30

Michael Batey returns to Dalston for Fells and Flowers Art Exhibition in aid of Hospice at Home

Michael Batey returns to Ellers Mill in Dalston for his Fells and Flowers Art Exhibition. Attendees will delight in the art showcased by Michael and his wife, Anne Batey. This will be the 3rd time that Michaels exhibition will be helping to raise funds for local charity Hospice at Home. Previous exhibitions “Homelands” and “Cumberland” in Dalston and Keswick raised over £5.5k for the charity that provides free care and support for patients and families in the home in North and East Cumbria.  The funds raised comes from Michael kindly donating 10% of his exhibition sale profits, and from Hospice at Home’s volunteers who run the refreshments table that boasts excellent homemade cooking.

“We are so humbled that Michael and Anne have chosen us again as beneficiaries for their art exhibition. Having grown up in Welton, Michael shares that powerful Cumbrian neighbourly mindset that we are so lucky to witness from our supporters. Michael and Anne want to help benefit those in need by sharing their artistic skill and we can’t thank them enough for that.” Jenny Urwin, Hospice at Home Fundraiser

The event will take place at Ellers Mill in Dalston from 11th – 12th May from 10 am until 4.30 pm. If you would like to have a preview of the type of art that will be on display, please follow on Instagram @annebatey_art and @michaelbatey_art
