County Show Collections

Cumbrians showed their amazing generosity over the past two weekends by donating nearly £1100 at the Penrith and Cumberland County Shows. Volunteers collected for 2 hours at the end of each show and were fantastically supported by members of the public. Our thanks go to the Show Committees, our volunteers, and everyone who donated.

Westmorland Services Collection

Magaret Bousfield and Anne Thornton and 27 volunteers undertook their annual collection at Westmorland Ltd services at Orton for Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland. £949.09 was collected from members of the public who had stopped to use the services on both sides of the motorway. Margaret and Anne would like to thank Westmorland Ltd for allowing them to collect and all the volunteers who gave up their time to help.
