Shop volunteering
Join our friendly team of shop volunteers based at Brampton, Carlisle, Keswick and Penrith.
Our Shops generate fantastic income, and there are many ways you can support as Shop Volunteer.
These include receiving donations from supporters, manual handling, sorting stock, cash handling, arranging window and floor displays and pricing items, not to mention talking to people and sharing information about Hospice at Home and how the charity supports local patients.
Is this role for you?
Are you someone who wants to make a difference and:
- Has good customer service and communication skills
- Has good organisational skills and is able to follow instructions
- Can work well as part of a team
- Is reliable and flexible
- Has a positive and friendly attitude
Hours can be mutually agreed, however generally volunteers give a minimum of 3 hours per week on a rota system.
