Thank you

Over the years we have had some truly unique items being donated. Our volunteers and shop managers have a keen eye when spotting a unique item. When this happens, we have the support of local expert in the field to assess the value and this valuation can generate a lot of income for the shop.

We aim to recycle any items that cannot be sold and the money from this makes a significant contribution to our Shops’ income. It is estimated that over 50% of unwanted clothes goes into landfill each year, so by recycling them we are not only reducing that figure enormously, but also raising money for the Hospice at Home service. In addition we also recycle broken and unwanted jewellery.

We kindly ask you to remember that quality really does count as unsaleable, ripped or broken items will end up costing the Charity money to dispose of. We are also not able to accept items that we may not be able to sell in our shops at this time. Please see the list above of what we can and cannot accept.
