Join the Penguin Waddle!
A fun winter fundraiser for Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland
We’re inviting schools and organisations to take part in our exciting Winter campaign—the Penguin Waddle—running from November 2025 to February 2026.
It’s simple and fun: choose a day, time, and location that suits you, and we’ll provide everything you need to get waddling! Each child will receive a penguin headband template and certificate for taking part. Just inflate a balloon, set up a playful obstacle course, and waddle to the finish line—whether in your hall, classroom, or playground!
We’ll also supply:
- Printable headband templates for decorating
- Printable event posters to promote your waddle
- Printable certificates for every participant
- Printable obstacle course signs
- Printable a letter for parents/guardians
- Printable sponsorship form to help raise vital funds
- Instructions for the Penguin Waddle
Sponsorship is optional, but every penny raised supports Hospice at Home’s local care services. We’ll also create a JustGiving page for your school or group, making it easy for families to donate online or set up their own fundraising pages.
The Penguin Waddle is not only a fun, active event—it’s a chance for children to learn about the importance of hospice care in their community.
