Photobiomodulation (PBM) / Low laser Therapy

At Hospice at Home, we’re always looking for ways to improve the comfort, mobility, and wellbeing of our patients. One effective tool we could offer is Photobiomodulation (PBM) Therapy—a gentle, non-invasive treatment that supports healing and reduces discomfort.

We’re seeking support to fund PBM Therapy equipment, which will allow us to offer this valuable treatment to more patients in our care.

 How PBM Therapy Helps

Encourages fluid drainage, helping to reduce swelling and discomfort.

  • Reduces Inflammation
Eases pain and prevents symptoms from worsening.

  • Stimulates Tissue Repair
Supports healing by improving tissue flexibility and reducing fibrosis.

  • Increases Mobility and Function
Helps patients move more freely by reducing stiffness and swelling.

  • Proactive Management
Prevents lymphoedema from becoming chronic and debilitating.

  • Enhances Quality of Life
Promotes independence, comfort, and overall wellbeing.

Cost: £10,704

This investment will allow us to offer PBM Therapy to our patients, improving their quality of life and helping them stay active and comfortable for longer.
