Unicorn Magic Raises £440!

Unicorn Magic Raises £440!

It was such a privilege to go and meet June and her granddaughter Frankie.

Inspired by June’s altruistic character and being a long-time volunteer and supporter of Hospice at Home, Frankie enlisted June’s help for a project.
After recently visiting a museum’s Unicorn exhibition Frankie knew she could do better. So the pair got to work to hold a Unicorn exhibition of their own in Frankie’s bedroom during half term.

Friends, family and locals came to have a look for £1 entrance fee and £1 for a raffle ticket. Over the two days, Frankie and June greeted visitors at the door with a smile in their unicorn head dresses.

June said “I believe this is a really good way of teaching her how to think of others and raise money to help others. She worked really hard and was so accepting and accommodating of everyone who came.” June and Frankie raised £440 which is amazing for such a young fundraiser to achieve.

We are so grateful to Frankie and June for coming up with a unique and magical way to raise money. When asked what her next exhibition will be Frankie said “Mermaids!”
