Colour Run 2026

1 March - 17 July

Colour Run

Get messy. Get moving. Make a difference.

We’re inviting schools, nurseries, and community groups to join us for a vibrant, joy-filled fundraising event — the Hospice at Home Colour Run!

What is it?

A Colour Run is a fun, energetic event where participants run, walk, or wheel through a route of your choice — all while being showered in bright, environmentally friendly powdered paint! It’s a fantastic way to get active, celebrate community spirit, and raise vital funds for local hospice at home care.

Why take part?

  • It’s easy to organise on your own premises.
  • It’s fun for all ages — perfect for pupils, teachers, and families.

Questions Schools Are Likely to Ask About Hosting a Colour Run

1. How many pupils can take part?
We can cater for many children and there is no upper limit on this as we order in what ever you will need once the booking is confirmed.

2. How long does the course have to be?
Generally, schools make a track around their school field and the children just keep going round as many times as they can – running through all the different coloured clouds of paint as they go – until the whistle blows to signal the end.

3. Do we need Marshalls or is that all sorted?
Yes the school will need to provide marshalls to throw the powder paint at the pupils as they run round the track. Previously this has been a mixture of parents, teachers and governors etc. as we only bring 2 representatives on the day. A member of staff and a volunteer.

4. How do we confirm a time and date?
If you can confirm the location of the school and approximately how many pupils would be taking part (link above) one of the team will get back to you asap to discuss dates you may have in mind.
