Gelt Gladiator in aid of Hospice at Home
Get yourself down to Cumbria’s largest mass participation sporting event. Summer 2025 sees Gelt Gladiator celebrating its 10 year anniversary! The Gelt Gladiator is an epic obstacle race, with multiple adult distances and a junior race, making it the perfect day out for the whole family. Come and clamber, slide and crawl over some fantastic obstacles whilst fundraising for Hospice at Home!

- Time:Â All events are in 20 minute waves
- Distance options: 10mile / 10k / 6k / Junior 4k
- Location: Serenity Spa, Walton, Nr Brampton, Cumbria, CA8 2JR / SATNAV : CA8 2JR
- Car Parking Charge : £5.00
- All participants receive an Adult a TECH T-SHIRT & A BEER as they cross the finish line (Children a T shirt and a Soft Drink)
Route information
- Terrain: Mixed
- Route Type: Obstacle course
- This mud obstacle course will take you through a series of challenging obstacles as they climb, crawl and slide through your choice of a 4k junior course, 6k, 10k or 10 miler.
- Tackle some technical tire shuttle runs, cargo nets, monkeys bars and electric shock wires on your way to the finish line. There’s also a 100 metre slip and slide which is the longest in the UK Mud Calendar so look forward to careering downhill into a pool of water.
- There are also tight tunnels and high climbs for all to take on, making this event perfect for anyone looking to conquer their fears.
- There will be a warm up at the start of the event led by expert PT Lyndsey Ferguson.
- There are 20 obstacles over the 3 mile course.
- 10 Mile will complete 3 laps
- 10k will complete 2 laps
- 6k will complete 1 full lap
- Junior 4k racers will complete a slightly different 15 obstacle course
